International development has reached a crucial moment in its evolution. Given the great progress in much of the world in the past decade or so, the paradigm of north-south development assistance is now outdated. All countries are engaged in contributing to global development, supporting sustainability and poverty reduction locally, nationally, regionally and globally. At the same time, the challenges faced by the world, in particular the poorer countries, are evolving and, to some extent, multiplying.
These were the thoughts of associate & non-resident fellow Andy Summers (Centre for Global Development), that we really appreciate.
In line with his great thoughts, the World Talent Federation, alongside Affiliates and Partners have donated above 54 Anthropo- Biometric Machines to help in Research, and direct Gift & Talent Assessments in developing countries.
These donations have focused on Africa (including Ghana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania and Uganda), Latin America (beginning with Honduras) and eventually Asia (Myanmar, Indonesia and Cambodia).
About 11 Talent Clinics have been established so far, with another 36 being scheduled to be set up by the end of the year 2022.
