World Talent Federation (WTF) has announced its full support of the renewed Professional and Scientific Gift and Talent Assessment Strategic Framework through direct funding to developing countries. The Federation has, thus, donated USD 9.2 million over the three-year period 2019-2022 towards Gifted and Talented programmes that focus on development of the first African University of Talent, in Kisumu, Kenya.

The donation goes towards WTF programmes that enhance professionalism in Gift and Talent Assessments, promote better access and affordability for the poor and develop capacity and better governance in recipient countries.

Officials from World Talent Federation have just held their two-day annual meeting to review the partnership and plan new initiatives. World Talent Federation’s contribution towards such programmes , is based on partner donations and is in addition to its membership dues.

It is important to note that the Federation supports global initiatives but also concentrates its funding on important country-Talent Based Learning programmes. The partner countries are chosen because they rank among the poorest countries in the world or because they have long worked with, and are affiliates of the World Talent Federation.

The Federation has already committed itself to invest 30 percent of its budget in Talent Based Assessment and Talent Based Learning Schemes development by 2025, striving to get the best value from its contribution.
