Talent is the innate ability or natural endowment for accomplishment in any given field. There are different methods or techniques used to find out if a learner is Gifted or Talented.
There are “Standard and Advanced” test kits used to find out the ‘symptoms’ then preliminary tests are taken before making ‘confirmatory’ tests.
Talent Identification or Spotting could help us in knowing potential talent just like fever can tell us that our child is sick. We may not know exactly the sickness by just thinking that since it is fever it must be malaria.
If that happens, we may be tempted to buy “off the shelf” medication for malaria. You can imagine what would happen if the sickness is typhoid or pneumonia as the symptoms are the same.
It is therefore imperative that a more in-depth process is carried out professionally and scientifically just like they do in hospitals. They will do tests that include laboratory tests to eliminate and confirm the true sickness. Professional or Scientific Gift and Talent Screening sits at the earth of this process.
There are 3 important steps in this 45 minute procedure:
Step 1: Oral Screening: Involves verbal chats to excite neutral domains and provide experts with “Inception Delimiters” of talent.
Step 2: Pscho-Screening: Experts (usually approved psychologists) use Special Software with psycho – questions and evaluation tools to improve and confirm Step 1 Values. They will include intelligence quotient (IQ) or cognitive abilities test scores which further identify gifted and talented students. Such may be for Nonverbal Sets, particularly for candidates from culturally and linguistically different or low-income backgrounds to eliminate barriers.
Step 3: Athropo-Biometric Machine Screening: Anthropo-biometric Machine Confirmatory Screening to provide “body model” with “neutral channels” and “brain diametrics”. The confirmatory tests are completed through a Gift and Talent Test aided machine; a biometric machine that uses safe white light (not an X-ray machine) and used to produce Neural Body Models used by experts to interpret and confirm talents.
